Bus shuttles will depart from Addison Transit Center, Glenn Heights Transit Center, Downtown Rowlett Station and Lake Ray Hubbard Transit Center and take passengers directly to Lot 8 at Fair Park. The shuttles will depart hourly from the transit centers from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and begin departing from Lot 8 at 12 p.m., with the last shuttle departing at 8 p.m. In a press release, the transit agency said there will be additional staff at each of the transit centers to assist with connections. The transit agency also announced the Orange Line trains will operate between DFW Airport and Buckner Station on Saturdays, Sundays and Oct. 12, allowing riders to get to Fair Park from DFW Airport without having to transfer. Riders can expect the Light Rail to have more rail cars and increased service frequency, with trains running every 20 minutes. The Trinity Railway Express will operate on a Saturday schedule on all four Sundays during the Fair. Riders will be able to transfer to the Green Line at Victory Station. Riders can purchase the transit agency passes on the GoPass app, a GoPass Tap card at participating retailers, tap to pay with any contactless credit or debit card or use tap to pay on your preferred mobile payment app. Find more information and schedules at the transit agency.org/statefair.
