# CitySignal AI > CitySignal AI is a live city layer and a personal agent named Scout. It fuses official road, transit, weather, power and water signals, removes duplicates, keeps each one current, and remembers the week. People save the places their life happens (home, work, school, a parent's house) and the routes between them, and Scout tells them what touches those places before they ask: in the iPhone app, on the web, by email, and inside AI assistants through the CitySignal connector. Key facts: - Live in 13 metro areas: Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Seattle, WA; Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA; Raleigh, NC; Houston, TX; Greensboro, NC; Birmingham, AL; Pensacola, FL. - 50 more cities are in preview (open to sign-ups, still being checked against what residents see; their public trackers are not out yet). - Every signal shows where it came from, using general labels (road reports, the weather service, the power utility, local news), and keeps what the source said apart from CitySignal's interpretation. - Each live city has a public tracker that counts road, water, power, construction and transit items week by week, with no sign-in. - Made by Clarity Mapped LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. ## Use CitySignal from an AI assistant CitySignal is an MCP server (Streamable HTTP) at https://citysignalai.com/mcp. It is listed in Claude's connector directory, and works as a custom connector or app in Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, Grok, Meta Muse and any MCP client. - City tools need no sign-in. Pass a city slug from list_cities; the default is atlanta. - Personal tools (my_*) read the person's own saved spots, routes, errands, priced list and daily brief after they connect their CitySignal account (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; dynamic client registration and client ID metadata documents are both supported). Before that they answer 401 with a WWW-Authenticate header that points at the sign-in. - Circle tools read only what people in the person's Circle chose to share with their assistant. - Two tools write, and only on the person's explicit ask: add_errand and save_spot. Nothing changes or deletes existing data. - Claude: [CitySignal in Claude's directory](https://claude.ai/directory/citysignal), or Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, and paste https://citysignalai.com/mcp. - ChatGPT: Settings, Apps, Developer mode, then add https://citysignalai.com/mcp. - Grok and Meta Muse: paste https://citysignalai.com/mcp into a chat and ask it to connect CitySignal. - Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http citysignal https://citysignalai.com/mcp` - REST API for the same city data: https://citysignalai.com/api/v1/openapi.json - Setup and every tool: [https://citysignalai.com/developers](https://citysignalai.com/developers) and [https://citysignalai.com/ai](https://citysignalai.com/ai) Good fits: "Is my commute clear this morning?", "What is going on in Nashville this weekend?", "Which errands fit my drive home?", "Was this week worse than last week in Chicago?", "Show me what is happening on I-85 right now." ## Public pages - [Home](https://citysignalai.com/): what CitySignal and Scout do - [CitySignal in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Muse](https://citysignalai.com/ai): how to add the connector and what to ask - [For assistants and developers](https://citysignalai.com/developers): the MCP server, OAuth, tools and REST API - [iPhone app](https://citysignalai.com/ios) - [CitySignal Index](https://citysignalai.com/cities): how the week went in every live city against its own typical week - [All trackers](https://citysignalai.com/trackers) - [Incidents by kind](https://citysignalai.com/cities/incidents) - [Atlanta Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/atlanta) and [Atlanta This Week](https://citysignalai.com/atlanta-this-week) - [Nashville Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/nashville) and [Nashville This Week](https://citysignalai.com/nashville-this-week) - [Charlotte Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/charlotte) and [Charlotte This Week](https://citysignalai.com/charlotte-this-week) - [Dallas Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/dallas) and [Dallas This Week](https://citysignalai.com/dallas-this-week) - [Austin Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/austin) and [Austin This Week](https://citysignalai.com/austin-this-week) - [Seattle Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/seattle) and [Seattle This Week](https://citysignalai.com/seattle-this-week) - [Chicago Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/chicago) and [Chicago This Week](https://citysignalai.com/chicago-this-week) - [San Francisco Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/san-francisco) and [San Francisco This Week](https://citysignalai.com/san-francisco-this-week) - [Raleigh Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/raleigh-durham) and [Raleigh This Week](https://citysignalai.com/raleigh-durham-this-week) - [Houston Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/houston) and [Houston This Week](https://citysignalai.com/houston-this-week) - [Greensboro Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/greensboro) and [Greensboro This Week](https://citysignalai.com/greensboro-this-week) - [Birmingham Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/birmingham) and [Birmingham This Week](https://citysignalai.com/birmingham-this-week) - [Pensacola Tracker](https://citysignalai.com/pensacola) and [Pensacola This Week](https://citysignalai.com/pensacola-this-week) - [Privacy policy](https://citysignalai.com/privacy) and [Terms of service](https://citysignalai.com/terms) Each tracker has category pages at //road, /water, /power, /construction and /transit. Citywide and high-severity signals have public detail pages at /e/. ## Notes for agents - For live answers, use the connector rather than scraping pages: it returns structured, current data with stable ids. - Dashboards, personal feeds and settings need an account and are not crawlable. - A longer version of this file, with every connector tool: https://citysignalai.com/llms-full.txt
