Anthony Rizzo, Jake Arrieta get the perfect Chicago Marathon bib numbers

Source says

Chicago Cubs icons Anthony Rizzo and Jake Arrieta are both running this year’s Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and eagle-eyed fans will spot a unique tribute to the players. Rizzo and Arrieta were both members of the 2016 Cubs team that won the World Series, giving the team its first championship in a staggering 108 years.

Now Rizzo serves as an ambassador for the Cubs and Arrieta is a consistent presence around Wrigley Field, and both will be taking to the streets of Chicago on Sunday to run the 26.2-mile Chicago Marathon course. Even if fans don’t immediately recognize the players as they make their way around the city, their bib numbers will be a dead giveaway. That’s because Rizzo was assigned bib number “4416.” The “44” is an homage to his jersey number with the Cubs, and “16” an homage to the 2016 World Series team he was part of. Naturally, Arrieta was given number “4916,” with his jersey number and the World Series title represented on the bib. We will report back on their times in the race, and we’ll see which player can outrun the other.
