Fort Worth Michelada Festival celebrates Hispanic heritage with food, music & more

Friends and family members of all ages are invited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage at this year’s Michelada Festival in Downtown Fort Worth. The free event on Sunday, Oct. 11 offers street food, live musical performances, various vendor booths, and a Michelada Contest.

Five blocks in Fort Worth on Main Street will be taken over from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., including Sundance Square Plaza. Group organizers say funds raised from the festival will go towards scholarships through Connect Respect, the nonprofit presenting the festival. Texas Wesleyan University is also expected to receive $25,000 during the festival for a scholarship endowment.
