Central Brevard County in east central Florida WHEN...Until noon EST. IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. ADDITIONAL DETAILS - At 929 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Melbourne, Titusville, Rockledge, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach, Cape Canaveral, Indialantic, Sharpes, Merritt Island, Port Saint John, Port Canaveral, Titusville Airport, Patrick Space Force Base, Playalinda Beach, Mims, Indian Harbour Beach, Jetty Park and Canaveral Groves. -
