Cincinnati Tracker
Every road closure, water issue, outage, construction notice and transit alert the city's agencies, utilities and newsrooms reported across Cincinnati and the close-in metro, counted week by week. No login, no feed. Just the numbers, and where they landed.

Outages fell from 52 to 35 last week. Construction notices rose. Road has held steady.
Weeks start on Sunday. One thing is counted once per place per day, and something that runs for days counts on the day it started. Brief lane blocks that cleared inside an hour are left out, closures scheduled to run longer than a week are roadworks rather than incidents, an outage counts when it left 10 or more customers without power, and stories about policy or funding are not incidents.
Where Cincinnati was hit this week

What the map says
Tap a row to see it on the map.
Areas are measured from Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati: within 2 miles is Downtown Cincinnati, within 10 miles (about where the I-275 beltway's inner edge runs) is that side of Cincinnati, and beyond that is the metro. An item with no coordinates is counted in the totals but not placed on the map. Corridors come from the road a source named. Interstates are split into the stretch north, south, east or west of downtown Cincinnati, since one number for a whole interstate hides where the trouble is. Cincinnati elects its city council at large, so there are no council districts. The areas are the incorporated cities and villages in the metro, Ohio and Kentucky alike, from the Census Bureau's limits. Unincorporated townships are not drawn and are shown on the metro map.

Sources are read every ten minutes, and the counts are rebuilt whenever one of them publishes something new. Last counted Nov 4, 9:42 AM ET. Only what these sources published. Nothing inferred. Counted once when an agency and a newsroom report the same thing.
