Road, water, power and construction have held steady. Transit stayed quiet.

Weeks start on Sunday. One thing is counted once per place per day, and something that runs for days counts on the day it started. Brief lane blocks that cleared inside an hour are left out, closures scheduled to run longer than a week are roadworks rather than incidents, an outage counts when it left 10 or more customers without power, and stories about policy or funding are not incidents.

Where Colorado Springs was hit this week

What the map says

Tap a row to see it on the map.

Areas are measured from City Hall in downtown Colorado Springs: within 2 miles is Downtown Colorado Springs, within 9 miles (about where Powers Boulevard and Woodmen Road run) is that side of the city, and beyond that is the metro. Fountain, Monument and Woodland Park are part of the metro. An item with no coordinates is counted in the totals but not placed on the map. Corridors come from the road a source named. I-25 is split into the stretch north or south of downtown Colorado Springs, since one number for a whole interstate hides where the trouble is. Districts are the six City Council districts of Colorado Springs, from the city's GIS. Fountain, Manitou Springs, Monument and unincorporated El Paso County have their own governments and are shown on the metro map.

Sources are read every ten minutes, and the counts are rebuilt whenever one of them publishes something new. Last counted Oct 26, 3:24 AM MT.
Only what these sources published. Nothing inferred. Counted once when an agency and a newsroom report the same thing.
