How we count

  1. 1Every city is counted the same way as its own tracker: one thing once per place per day, only what an official source published, nothing inferred.
  2. 2A city's typical week is the median of its prior complete weeks, at least 4. The index is this week against that, so a city with more feeds or more people is not a busier city.
  3. 3Quiet is under 0.7x a typical week, Busy from 1.3x, Heavy from 2x. A word stronger than Typical also needs enough counted to mean it.
  4. 4The board is counted every Monday morning, after every city's week has ended, and holds until the next.

A hollow dot is a category the city has no official feed for yet. It is not counted, and it is never a zero.
